Come and join APICS, ISM-Cincinnati, and ASQ for our 17th Annual Economic Summit - our most popular event of the year! Dr. Richard Stevie and Dr. Julia Heath will combine economic statistics with their expert knowledge to predict the leading indicators of the local and national economies for the upcoming year.
Dr. Stevie joined Integral Analytics as VP of Forecasting in June, 2012. Prior to that, he was Chief Economist for Duke Energy with over thirty years of experience in forecasting and market analytics in the utility industry. Past positions include General Manager of the Market Analysis Department for Cinergy Corp.; Senior Economist for the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company (CG&E); Director of Economic Research for the North Carolina Utilities Commission; and economist for the United States Environmental Protection Agency. He was the Chair of the Regional Economic Advisory Committee for the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce from 1990 to 2012 and is currently the treasurer for Tri-State Education and Technology Foundation which operates Drake Planetarium.
Dr. Heath is the Director of the Economics Center at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to coming to UC, Dr. Heath spent 26 years at the University of Memphis. She received a Visiting Research Fellowship to Princeton University to conduct research in economics education and has published extensively in the area. While at Memphis she won several teaching awards, including the Carnegie Foundation U.S. Professor of the Year Award.
Katherine Brun is the Business Development Specialist for Northern Kentucky Tri-ED, a regional economic development organization serving Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties. She is committed to building a better of quality of life for the Northern Kentucky community through economic development, specifically managing business attraction, research, and projects at Tri-ED. Katherine has previous community development experience in both Oregon and Ohio, with a focus on revitalizing historic downtowns. In addition to her role at Tri-ED, Katherine is actively involved with the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association (NKITA), Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council (GCWAC), and the Central Ohio River Business Association (CORBA). Katherine graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a dual degree in international studies and economics. She will be pursuing an M.B.A. at Northern Kentucky University beginning this January.

There is also a large free public lot located a block away at 9401 Shelly Ln Montgomery OH . Networking and registration starts at 5:30pm, with dinner at 6:30pm and the speaker to follow.
